ABOUT DARIN
Darin is an incredible man who is passionate about Christ. He enjoys Bible discussions and creation/evolution topics. Darin's gift is leadership. He is often the life of the party. He loves being active and especially enjoys the activity if Marti is by his side.
HOW WE MET
Marti and Darin met at a church cookout. Marti was sitting under a tree, and Darin, attracted by her legs, came over and struck up a conversation. They decided to host (Marti) and teach (Darin) a small group. From that point on Marti and Darin became good friends, and as they came to know each other better, they fell in love. Darin proposed, and Marti said yes! And they lived happily ever after!!!
It's outdoors!! Marti and Darin are planning a big party at the "Wedding Compound" and want you to enjoy their special day. There will be a buffet dinner, dancing and possibly karaoke, corn-hole, and a bonfire. Dress attire should be casual-dressy. There is a short walk in between the ceremony and reception site. Please wear appropriate shoes for the tiny hike. (You might also need some bug spray.) The ceremony will start at 4:30 and the bride's uncle, Les White will be officiating the wedding.
If it rains, the wedding will take place under the reception tent. (Please pray that it doesn't rain!!)
A golf cart will be available for guests unable to walk to the ceremony area.
If the ground is dry, there is plenty of parking on grass. If the ground is wet, parking is a little more limited. It would be a good idea to carpool as much as possible.

DIRECTIONS:
From I-265, Take the Taylorsville Rd exit #23 heading East toward Taylorsville. Drive 1.8 miles. At the Stoplight, (T-intersection) turn right on to Highway 155 (also Taylorsville Lake Rd). Drive 8.5 miles. When you see a BP gas station on right followed by an empty gas station that still has the sign “Broasters,” turn right at the light onto Rt. 1633 (Elk Creek Rd) Drive .6 miles. When you will see a cemetery and Elk Creek Baptist church on the left, turn right onto Plum Ridge Rd and cross a one lane bridge. Drive 1.1 miles. Watch on the left for the block walls for the subdivision of Allen Place South. Turn left into the subdivision. At the first stop sign (T intersection), turn left and follow the curve around to the right for 1/10 of a mile. Stuart and Sherry’s house is at the end of the cul-de-sac. Their address is 204 Allen Place East, Taylorsville, KY 40071. Google maps gives pretty accurate directions, but they put the house on the incorrect side of the “Y” at Allen Place East.
There is an inground pool and hot tub at the property. You are responsible for watching your kids, but are free to use the pool. For the outdoor-type activities that are available, please feel free to bring a change of clothes, like "play clothes"
